Kinect for Windows
summary
Understanding user needs was a crucial first step in updating the Kinect For Windows developer portal. Through a series of interviews with beginner, intermediate and expert users, a new site architecture, user experience and visual design were mapped out supported by content developed by the Microsoft team. Ambient moving shapes on the home page and on page banners, alluding to Kinect's body mapping technology, served as a visual identifier throughout the site.
